An engaged university rooted in the Greater Paris region, Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) develops a synergistic approach to its missions of education, research, professional integration, and partnerships. UPEC has also been a member of the Aurora network since 2022, and is part of the Aurora 2030 programme of 13 European universities forming an alliance under the context of the European Universities Initiative (EUI) launched by the European Commission. This initiative aims to make European universities more internationally open, more effective, and more inclusive, in the field of higher education, research, and international mobility.
What you will do:
As Digital Content Creator, you will work closely with the Head of Communications for Strategic Programmes (ERASME / Aurora) at UPEC, and be in contact with stakeholders at UPEC, and in 13 universities across Europe. These stakeholders include students, administrative staff, academics and researchers.
You will source, create, and produce multi-format and omnichannel digital content in line with the established brand guidelines for both Aurora 2030 and ERASME strategic programmes. Content that you create will be published on Aurora and UPEC institutional communication channels, which include websites, social media, and newsletters to targeted audiences.
1. Social media content creation
· Source social media content ideas based on current and future activities in Aurora 2030 and ERASME programmes.
· Create engaging audiovisual content that respect the technical requirements of social media platforms LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube, type of content (video, visual, infographic, podcast, etc), and format (static, animated, Story, Reel, etc).
· Write social texts tailored for each social media platform, while respecting the brand voice for each programme.
· Track social media analytics to analyse and understand the success (or failure) of social posts in order to guide future content creation.
· Keep abreast with recent developments and trends across all social media platforms.
· Propose new ideas and ways to amplify engagement and increase reach on each social media.
2. Website and newsletter content creation
· Source potential newsworthy events by following closely current and upcoming activities within the Aurora 2030 and ERASME programmes.
· Write and publish articles in English for Aurora 2030, and in French for ERASME, to be featured on the respective websites and newsletters.
· Create visual content that respects the technical requirements of both websites and newsletters.
About the position:
· Internship duration is 6 months from January to June 2026.
· Full-time position with 35 hours per week.
· Formalised internship contract with compensation.
Who you are:
· Currently pursuing a Master’s degree related to communications, with keen knowledge and interest in digital communications and international affairs.
· In search of a full-time internship for 6 months.
· Bilingual French/English (written and oral), or native speaker in one language and fluent in the other.
· Enjoy content creation by using applications and softwares like Canva, Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite, or any other similar tools for creative content production.
· Have technical competences in Microsoft Office Package.
· Curious about developing professional and personal competencies in an international and multicultural setting.
